This morning we had our second third grade assembly of the year.  This assembly reviewed respect and focused on responsibility.  Ms. Kellet and Ms. Hefte led us in singing the Grade 3 song.  (Ask your child to sing it to you!)  Ms. Jin’s class introduced what responsibility means.

The classes divided into groups to brainstorm answers to the following quesitons:

  • How can we be responbsible on the playground?
  • How can we be responsible in the classroom?
  • How can we be responsible at home?
  • How can we show responsibility for our planet?
  • How can we be a responsible friend?

We came back together and students shared what their group had talked about.
