Third grade presentation of Georgia O’keeffe!
After all their hard work, from collecting the recycled materials, to building the armature, to adding layers of papier mache, paint, mod podge, and decorations… third graders are finally beginning to bring these home! I will make sure to take a photo of each third grader with their papier mache doll before they walk out my door! Stay tuned!
sas eagles!
Wow! Today, I overheard a number of second grade students in Mrs. Robinson’s class using our Eagles in their vocabulary! A few students were using too much paper, and some other students told them they were not being GLOBALLY MINDED, and then another student told them they weren’t being ETHICAL either! Way to go guys, I am so proud, and Mrs. Robinson is proud, too!
Third grade students worked in groups of 3 or 4 researching and presenting the lives and works of famous artists. Each group was required to create a poster and teach a lesson to the class about their artist. Here is a presentation on Henri Matisse by students in Mr. Kelly’s class!
I love seeing these grade three papier mache dolls sitting on the shelf drying. They are starting to look so colorful!
Kindergarten students are almost done painting their papier mache trees. All their hard work is really paying off! Way to go guys!
