Students can choose from; Anorexia nervosa, Bulimia nervosa or Compulsive overeating. Students should base their research on at least three credible web sites (Choose alternative sites to about.com and wikipedia). Once you have this information in hand, write a minimum of three paragraphs for a fictional “Dear Diary” entry on your own blog. Nutrition Scavenger Hunt

Written on December 8, 2008 – 11:02 pm | by kpoulin

Nutrition Grade Eight students need to open this link for today’s class. Try to complete as much as you can when you are using the computers during class time. Whatever you don’t complete, you need to complete for homework. This is the article that you’ll need for this assignment. The information for this article was found on the Teen Health and Wellness site.

After completing the Scavenger Hunt, take the time to complete the four rounds of this online nutrition quiz. You can go back and re-test yourself for any of the first three rounds (to imrpove your score and knowledge), but you can’t for round four. Good luck!

Students have just finished their Kung Fu unit and I want to thank them all for taking the time to practice their routines at home. Skill tests and re-tests are complete and a number of students have been selected to perform during the Chinese New Year Assembly. These students should use the Kung Fu practice video to continue practicing periodically (maybe once per week to start; more frequently later) in order to remember the sequences.
