7th grade students took the first chip out of their plaster blocks today!  An exciting moment… the ‘reduction process’ begins to reveal the sculpture hidden inside.

“My Other Self” is the name of the project and students have put a lot of thought into how they will represent themselves as a completely abstract sculpture.

Take a Seat!

Well…….. take a chair………….. YOUR CHAIR.
7th graders, you can finally take your chairs (and your soap sculptures) home !!
Pick them up from the Art room and arrange to get them home safely.

Early humans painted and engraved on cave walls to express the most important events of their lives in the form of pictures.
