We will type our completed 'big stories' at the start of the week and finish with writing some poetry. We will look at imagery and emotion in our poems, not forced structures.
Science
We will look next at snails for the first three days and then the crayfish arrive on Friday to conclude our studies of the Structures of Life.
Readers Workshop
Poetry everywhere: I will read some, students will have access to many varieties - students will copy the ones that move them somehow.
Math
We have 3 more lessons on Chapter 11's Volume and formulas. Monday's lesson on viewing spatial cubes is the most challenging and it went well. Review on Friday, the test will be Monday, 24th for Ch 11.
Social Studies
We continue with Ted Talks screencasts and listen to student and class current event during our share sessions. We will also have time to update our study of Modern China - this week, Three Gorges Dam.
Class Play - Many Moons
