Day 2
Thanks to grade 8, the grade 6 fundraising pool for Starfish Foster Home of Xian, has been increased by their generous donation of 1062.00 RMB.
Also thanks to Sam W and Alex Y for their recent busking efforts helped to raise 201.10 RMB
Our tally therefore now stands at 2694.20 RMB.
Thanks all concerned as we will continue to build on this in the new year.
Congratulations to Mr. Claassen and all our Orchestra students who put on a great show last night – Thanks to our Art teachers and students for providing a wonderful backdrop and, of course, … the dragons!
CISSA t-shirts are in! All students that have participated in a CISSA sport this year must see Mr. Zigmand during lunch this week so he can ensure you receive your CISSA t-shirt on Monday.

To All students playing in the concerts: After school today, you may be in the library, the cafeteria, the soccer field or the gym. Dinner will be at 5 pm. Good luck to Ms. Davey and the Band students who will be performing this evening.
Field Day BBQ and lunch time concert on the field is back again this year.
If your student band would like to perform during field day lunch please sign up with Mr. Small.
Middle school field day is 1 week (Monday, June 8) away.
Please remember to wear your house shirt to field day. Also bring a change of clothes as you might get wet. Sun block, hat and water bottle are also recommended

Don’t forget that the last day to use your blog this school year will be this Friday! we will be backing up the contents of your blog but when you get your blog back in August, your theme, blogroll and widgets will not be there.
Tip of the day: if you want to save your Clustrmap or any of your widgets then do the following: Open up a word document, copy and paste the codes for your widgets into the word document and email it to yourself! Ask your teachers about this… I’m sure they’ve done this!

Wanted: All Library Materials
Are there Library books hiding out in your locker? Lurking in your closet? Cowering under your bed?
It’s time to turn them in!! Reward offered to the first Advisory to turn in all their books!!
To all current 6th, 7th and 8th graders:
If you will be using your own Mac next school year and you will NOT be purchasing a Mac through the school, you MUST bring your Mac into Ms. DeCardy to have it certified by June 18 or you will be charged the full fee. Please go see Ms. DeCardy or go to her blog for the form listing the requirements for your Mac - see her today even if you do not have your Mac with you!!!!!
Attention 7th Graders!
If you are studying Algebra 1 independently, you will need to see MRS. SAICH, in MS 307 this week for HOT on one day – tomorrow is your last chance - to take the test on Chapter 1-6. This way she will be able to let you know your progress and give you information regarding the testing in August.

If you would like to be an EA next year you will need to get an application form either from your advisory teacher or from the office. Please read the instructions carefully and submit your completed application form to Ms.Edith or Ms.Angelina in the office by TODAY. All students are welcome to apply. Successful candidates will be notified on Monday June 8th.
