Shanghai History Musuem Slideshows!

Before students in 4TD began working on the editing their Sideways Stories Movies, they learned how to use i-movie by creating a slide show of their trip to the Shanghai History Museum in the Pearl Tower. At the museum students were paired up with a partner and a parent chaperone. They then used digital cameras to take photos of the interesting displays at the museum. During this time, they also had to write down the historical information for each photo they took. The following week at school Mr. Power and I taught the students how to use i-movie. They downloaded the photos into their movies and wrote scripts to accompany each photo. Afterwards, students were able to record their voices to the slides, create opening and ending credits, and add a soundtrack.

Time and time again, the young men and ladies in 4TD surprised me with their achievement and talent. Great job, everyone!
